I've got to say I've had similar experiences. I order from them often.

Henostats at the “connection” hole when powder coating. Then use a piece of paper clip or wire when hanging in the oven to cure.

A heat gun gets it to the right temp

Been fishing them like this for years! I don't see that they cut down on vibration especially in the 1/2oz size. -
