  1. MarkNY 2nd question- I bend the line tie in such a fashion as to go thru two small holes that I've drilled to accommodate the wires. The holes are drilled on center, very close together, and just a little smaller than the wire dia. Once the wire is pressed thru the lip it is supported very well. This will help keep your bait in tune. Hope fully that also makes sense.
  2. MarkNY 1st question- They are separate at first. See the channels that I machine for each are connected. This allows me to fill both channels with epoxy all the way thru the bait, from the belly weight anchor out to the front anchor. So when it's dry they become one assembly. So far it's been a very strong and reliable way to construct. Hopefully that made sense.
  3. Thanks BL. As with every creation, it's a work in progress
  4. Thanks Barry and good eye. I use a heavier gauge in the rear for added insurance that the hook won't pull out. With the way most guys like to land fish these days you have to have strong anchors.
  5. Another Slounch Slayer MD crankbait for Bryan Almany. Bryan likes to fish a particular trout fed body of water that's known for some big bass. This foiled trout pattern is sure to fool a few of them!

  6. I would use 8-10 lb Flourocarbon tied to a Slounch Slayer MD of course. Then I would hold on.
  7. Thanks for the info Ned. I will give that pin a try. It looks like that pen is waterproof. Maybe that's what makes it work as just any old ink pen will not work.
  8. What is a good method for putting a signature on a hard bait? This has been the most difficult thing for me,ugh.....any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
