Thanks guys! Like most of us on TU, I really enjoy making my own baits. I am selling some of them on ebay to help supplement the cost of my lure building materials and tools. If any of you are looking to do the same, open an ebay account and try it! This little "hobby" of mine is now paying for itself. I urge anyone to try it! It is just another part of lure building that can be very rewarding!

Thanks. This one is a floating diver. It weighs 2oz and at a normal retrieve speed it will dive with a nice side to side wiggle. Not quite that "almost vibrating wiggle" but close. Then it will rise back up slowly, If you let it. I made 3 of this style lure. My wife calls them my Fast and Furious lures.

I made 2 of these, one floating diver that was 2 oz and one for trolling that was 3 oz. This is the 2oz one. I have made a few 4" ones as well. The stencils are a bit harder to cut out but still worth it. Where I live, Green was a great color for large mouth this year.

Thank you. Just having a little fun. This one was very easy to make too. Some holographic foil, some masking tape, then spray it.

Thank you. It is an easy lure to make. The sides have holographic foil on them, then the black is just a couple of stencils that I cut from drawing paper. There are lots of how to videos on you tube that you can watch and learn from. This lure is one that I just sold on ebay and is on it way to Germany.

The tape is air condition duct work tape. You can get it an any supply house that sells heating and cooling parts. I just press it onto a piece of wire mesh to get the scale effect. Its very easy to do and very easy to work with.

Thanks. I would be happy to share this. This is a very easy pattern to make. It is spandex. I cut it to size, my wife sews it together like a sock so it stretches slightly over the bait. I put on 2 coats of epoxy add plastic filler where needed on the belly, sand it, add one more coat of epoxy then do the airbrushing. I get the spandex from The Spandex House in NYC. This pattern is on there website under hologram. it is called little mermaid. I hope this helps.

Hey sorry I am so late in responding. It has been a long winter so far. Anyway, the scale material is spandex. I bought it from The Spandex House in NYC. They have a good website. This is called Little mermaid and is about 13 bucks a yard.
