  1. Thanks Toadfrog.. I'm the type of guy whom is always looking for alternatives, and do not like to be forced into having to buy one particular product due to someone saying "you have no other choice, just buy it from these folks ". I do see that as far as the plastic goes we pretty much have no other choice but to but the plastisol or the alumisol other than going green using the gelatin and glycerin mix I've read about . By the way , has anyone tried this ? Any luck going biodegradable ?
  2. Cool, I was just waiting on my order, and have no color until it comes in. Thanks guys
  3. Lol!!! That there is funny ! I hope she ain't a member here ... Lol
  4. Appreciate you guys , and Nova ? Are you putting Glycerin in that too. ? Ok so I mix the ingredients , but if I'm heating with a microwave how woul I know when I hit 240 ? Thank you sir .
  5. Ok guys. Would it be safe to use my own microwave ? That is being that my wife would kick my ass for sure lol.
  6. Oh wow ! I need that . It would murder a Trout or Redfish down here on the coast of Texas. Nice
  7. Lol! Hey I have a toaster oven. If I used that to heat the plastiol, how long and what temp? Also If I were to melt a few old lures , how long and what temp on them ? Thank you guys , I appreciate it a bunch !
  8. Guys can you use that kind of paint for a tail dip? It's enamel right ?
  9. Guys I am new here, and used to pour soft plastics years ago, and now getting back into this . Is there alternative material to buy say at a local hardware store that can replace the plastisol for pouring soft plastics? Reason I ask is because I am waiting on the plastisol I've ordered, and just very curious ? Thanks guys.
