  1. Hello! I made a few new ones for a customer. Hope you like them ! Made in plastic Feather lite. 4 layers of top coat C&W Lure epoxy. Colors: Glitter Northern PikePike CWC C400
  2. RayburnGuy Thanks for the link to Tackletour. Interesting site !
  3. Yes and that was why i recommended Harder and steenbeck evolution. It is a quality brush but still pretty cheap compared to, let say and Iwata model that is as good as Evolution. Harder and steenbeck is cheaper than an Iwata and Iwata is not better. It is the name "Iwata" that costs money.
  4. I used to have a Passche VL Airbrush and one other crappy model. And then I bought my Harder & Steenbeck Infinity 2 in 1. The difference where crazy. What a feeling in this Airbrush! Much easier to paint good. I recommend a Harder and Steenbeck Evolution silverline or Harder & Steenbeck Infinity. Both of them exist in 2 in 1. That means two different needle sizes in the same Airbrush. I got a 0,15 needle for really detailed work and a 0,40 needle for pearl/metallic colors and some of the Opaque, and this in the same airbrush. Both of these models have teflon sealings standard so you won't get any problems with broken sealings. You get 2 different cup sizes. Fast look for the air tube. The Infinity also have a Quick fix in the back wich is the best thing of all!!! Germans do know how to make Airbrushes !
  5. I recommend Harder And Steenbeck Evolution!
  6. I only used the release agent once when I was pouring the Silicone to make the mold. Used it so the Master wouldn't get stuck or something like that. Yes I've heard something about that powder too! Maybe ill try that out! First I will try silicone remover thou. Thanks!
  7. Ardent angler. What a stupid manager you got. I dont see what could happen if you try out some lures in the pool more than it looks a bit weird ! Haha funny wife ! Thank you!
  8. Okey, this was a lot of reading and English is not my first language ! I am using exactly the same tail as on this lure -------> http://www.dogger.se/beten/tails--gummibeten/svartzonker-mcmy-c-1201-1.aspx Yes the lure didn't work very good without a tail but I now remember one thing. When weighing this lure it sank with its head down without the tail and with the tail it sank horizontal. The lure could have worked better without tail with a proper weighing but it would probably not have so looooong glides to the sides. I think a Grub tail wouldnt work as good as this tail works. The grub tail is so fat on the back part, at least what I can se on the photos. But using a knife to make it thinner (on the hight) would work. I think the shape of the tail is very important.

    Jerbait tail gliders

No problems. Love to help if I can! Thanks! You too!
  10. Yes, I think its close to perfect. Actually, this is my first glide bait that has worked this good. This kind of hang belly lures are pretty easy to do. I know a girl that works on that public swiming place but everyone there looked at me as I was a lunetic ! Without a tail the lure turn almost 180 degrees to the sides but glides very short. It just turns. If I made the same shape but a longer bait instead of the tail if would have glide long to the sides. Now I am going to paint the first lure that someone has ordered ever ! Thank you guys !

    Jerbait tail gliders

Hehe. The tail I am using is the same as on Svartzonker McMy. You can buy just the tail almost everywhere here in Sweden. Thank you so much man ! I am using two weights. Actually, they are placed on the hookhangers in this model ! 8 gram on the front hook and 4 grams on the hook in the back.
  12. This is how my new Jerkbait tail performs in the water. What do you think??
  13. Thanks for the answers! I noticed one thing. The first layer coat looked pretty fucked up but after second layer it started to look good and after the third layer it looked awesome! I think if I had some degreaser or silicon remover the problem will disappear totally!
  14. I think I know how to fix this now. SIlicone remover or some kind of degreaser to remove the oils and grease from Release agent! Mark poulson, yes there is a lot of problems but a lot of things that is easier with resin compared to wood like weightning the lures
  15. I have a problem. When I put coat on my lures it wont stick to the lure everywhere. I got so called (fisheyes). I think it has something to do with that they are not clean enough after the casting because of the release agent. I have cleaned the lures in my washing machine AND by hand before painting. I have primed the lures with two layers using Motip White base primer. It feels like they should be clean like a surgical hospital tool!!! What am I doing wrong?

  18. Thanks for all the answers and sorry for my late answer ! This is how I have tried to do this: First I attached the lead on the through wire and used epoxy so I will stay in its position. This method is crap if you ask me! Then I made 4 thin wire rods that I attached the lead on and just before the resin had hardened i pulled them out. In that method the lead always stayed in the same position. But I always got 4 small holes in the lure. That worked pretty good but theres got to be a better way!? I also have skin texture everywhere except the head so I dont want to get holes and stuff :/. On my next modell I will carve the master without skin texture and maybe drill holes for the lead. The classic way !
  19. How do everyone attach the weights in the molds before casting? I have tried to attach it to the through wire but I thought that was a pain in the ass cause I wanted the weights in the very low of the belly and the lower part just behind the middle hook and needed to bend the wire in so many places. And I felt that it was hard to get the lead to stay in the exact same position every time i Casted :/. I have searched the internet for information about it many times without luck. I asked Solarfall (Solarbaits) but he said that it is a secret how he do it ! I have molded lead in bars. 8mm and 10mm thick. How do I attach it to the resin-mold easy and perfect everytime?
