Thanks cadman and smalljaw you guys are the best I been reading alot of other post that others have asked and It seems that you two have your stuff together. I have the brush jig mold but I purchased a custom mold from shawn collins customs that is like the brush jig mold and took the same hook poured some yesterday and it looks like a very good jig it has a better bait and skirt holder on it than the do it. I will post some pics later. Thanks again chester

I am using the do it brush jig mold I currently use the mustad 32786 I was wanting to use a wids gap hook and found the eagle claw L11BP which is a 60 degree bend hook wide gap. I was checking to see if others have tried it befor I purchase a bunch of them. Thanks again for your input and help.

I agree with 04882 go to skirts plus website www.skirtsplus.com they have some very good pictures that you can match your colors with. Lure parts online also have some of them also.

I have bought a couple of those at a fishing show and had no difference. The ones I make with a smaller wire size has as much if not more vibration than those. I would not buy them again.

I have had the folks at lurecraft make about 10 molds for me. You can give them a call and they will take care of you and usally are pretty quick with getting them done.

I was looking to see if some of you guys could help me in finding and avocado skirt material or what colors to put together to make one with. Thanks much for the help.

I have had good luck with skirts plus on getting the colors right also. I buy from them and fishing skirts.com. I have been having some issues with some of my skirt material from fishing skirts.com seems like some of it is melted together and the stands are not a loose as the others.

I think skirts plus has that color I have a skirt that they make for me and I am pretty sure the color and pattern is the same. Give them a call and check with them.

I think the o rings you are talking about go with the flare bands they sell to to make the skirt flare out more. I have bought some a while back and just have not got time to try them yet, I bought them for my swim jigs I make. You have to have the flare band and the oring they sell. Hope this helps.

I was wanting to know what some of you guys think about the samp swivels. I have been using them. Some of the last ones that I bought did not seem to turn well. Is their another brand that works well that may be cheaper than the sampos. Thanks for the information.

Thanks to all for the info. I wish I would of found this site when I got started I sell some jigs and spinnerbaits local on a small scale. I am going to try the things you guys have said and see what works for me. I have learned alot just reading the different post that has helped me change alot of the stuff i was doing to make it better. I am also looking for someone that makes swimbait heads that I can purchase in bulk. thanks much

I was looking for some help on glueing eyes on spinnerbaits I powder paint all of my jigs and spinnerbaits. I tried using super glue and It eats some of the eye away and leaves a white film on the eye and the head of the spinnerbait. Any info will be greatly apperciated.

This is my first post been a member for a while reading the different topics and learning a lot. with the bondo mold how well does it hold up to the heat of the lead and what do you think the normal amount of pours would be. Thanks for any help
