Harbor freight hot knife is the way to go. Heat knife, slide a section that is to be put together down each side of blade, stick together, hold a couple seconds & good to go. Very easy & works great.
I don't understand why your baits are coming out with a dull finish using any plastic from baitplastics. Mine always come out shiny & if i'm making them translucent they're crystal clear. Seems odd honestly.
I use bait plastics plastisol & so far other than their monkey milk colorant i use lureworks for everything else. I've tried others but i just don't like them like i do lureworks colorantsor glitter.
I'm wanting to get a small wax worm mold & use it like a crappie nibble. What would be some good scent for crappie that can be added to cold plastic & cooked in? Thanks
I use an angling ai tube mold & i mix hard & soft plastic 50/50 to get the durability i want but i only texas rig them too. They have good action & last a while this way.
I've had the oily baits when i first started using it a few years ago. Now i hang them by the sprue until i use them which could be quite some time & they are as good a bait as i've ever had.
