Very interesting paint scheme. What do you use to clear coat your baits? It looks like an epoxy.
Thanks! Yes I used Envirotex Lite epoxy.

I use Folk Art Crackle Medium. You put a base coat then apply the medium then spray white paint over it and use a hair dryer to make the crackle happen.

Thanks!!

Thanks!! I really liked how this one turned out as well.

Thanks buddy!

It is for bass, it is the 90 size. A muskie plopper is a 130 size normally.

It is a blank I bought off eBay. Just type in plopper blanks and look for the ones with the round eyes they do not barrel roll like others do.

This is a popper painted in the Hulk pattern.
I used Createx paints and cleared with KBS.
Thanks !!

This is a Cyprus wood prop bait. It was painted with Folk Art color shifting paint. I used the crackle method to achieve the pattern. I cleared it with 2 layers of Envirotex lite epoxy. Thanks !!

I actually use water. About a 50% to 50% mix. Unless it has more pigment in the paint. The rule of thumb is somewhere around the consistently of milk. But really most of it has to do with your airbrush. The needle and tip is what determines what can be shot thru the gun. Most medium size tips and needles will shoot the 50 to 50 ratio no problem.
