  1. Is there a way to strengthen plastic while still keeping it soft? I had a guy tell me he wants the same thing I make but he wants it a little stronger without losing the softness. I'm using lc medium 502. Do I have to order a different plastic or what are my options?? I'm already using salt and softner if that helps, thanks.
  2. What do y'all charge for sinkos? I'm thinking about 6 in a bag for 4.00$ is that too high?
  3. Frank what's your YouTube account? Id like to check it out.
  4. Maybe one day I'll invest in a pot, untill then I'll keep playing with what I have. Thank you all for the advice/ support.
  5. I'm using lc salt, 4-5 tbs per cup of plastic, lc medium plastic, heating it in a microwave, adding salt before heating and injecting the plastic. And iv tried with softener and without. Same results both times
  6. I just put 10-15 drops of worm oil. Just enough to coat the surface of the worms.
  7. I am very new to this and salt is kicking my butt lol. Iv been using a lot of salt. I'll try backing off a little and I'll also try a coat hanger to stir it, iv been using a old butter knife. I have color and glitter combos down I just have to figure out this salt stuff and then I'll be alright. Thank you for the advise.
  8. So I'm stiring the mess out of my plastic during the heating process and just before pouring and I keep getting salt in clumps in my worms. What am I doing wrong.
  9. What made me want to try salt was me and a buddy fishing and both throwing flukes, he had a zoom fluke and I had ones I had made without salt. I got to watching his fluke in the water and it seemed to be more aggressive cutting side to side as it was going through the water than mine did. So I got curious and ripped one of his open and noticed the salt. I also noticed he was putting a nail with the head cut off in the head of the fluke. So my thought is that putting a buckshot weight on the line forward of the fluke is causing the weight to be too far ahead of the bait to make it juke back and forth like i want it to, I don't know it's just somthing I figured id try. Thanks for the responses I'll give it a shot and see what the outcome is.
  10. Can anyone give me an idea on how much salt to put in 5" fluke type baits, I'm new to making baits and have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to salt. I'm using lc #502 plastic. Anything will help, thanks.
