    Blue Gill

Thanks man. Means a lot to know I'm on the right track. I have clear drying on it now and it looks killer.

    Blue Gill

Thanks for the compliment. It's just a generic one I but off of a site can't remember where. I'll have to check. Has a really nice wiggle. And runs 3 to 5 feet.

  8. It's my understanding that pearls are made to shoot as watered down as much as possible. Should be a light fog over a color you want to enhance. And a little goes a long way. A base color is good. Then shoot the pearl color to match. That's how it should be approached. It's more of an enhancement color or pearl. If that makes any sense.
  9. On a second note, I use artist inks as well. Very diluted and easy flow to the pain. No thinning down. And works with even the smallest diameter needle.
  10. What ever I can do to help. All info is good info! I'm glad it was useful.
  11. Hey Guys, found something today to clean Needles for your paint guns that won't scratch or bend your needles. I'm in Canada so bare with me on this. We have a product up here called a magic eraser made by "Mr.Clean" it's a cleaning sponge infused with cleaning agents. It's quite soft and light, you can poke the needle with ease through it and run it back and forth. It's quite remarkable how well it works! Hope this might help. Take care, and Paint On!
  12. Thanks buddy! Just trying to be different and find something unique. Might help others with ideas. I'm always looking at textures stencils. ....lol
  13. I Want to wait to tell you until the clear is done. Having some issues. I have a new batch of clear that's giving me some grief. I'll keep you posted.

  16. Just a thought. ... I haven't read all the replies, sorry. But have you thought to use the rubber bands to hold it open on the drying wheel yes.... but only do one side at a time. I know it's a longer process, but you can do the one side and when it's done clean up the excess waste off the joint and then do the second half. And when that side is done clean up the excess waste. I'd got lighter on the car coat if using appoxy in the middle section. Maybe use a little vasiline so it won't bond to the hardware in the middle. Hope this might be some help. Good luck and post pics! Zilla.
