Went to Toledo Bend yesterday. Weather forecast said winds of 3 to 8 MPH. I think the weatherman forgot to add a zero to the back of the 3 and 8. Weathermen.............don't ya just hate 'em?

Just the opposite, i love fishing slow! More intimate, almost seductive (ha ha!)
I usually get hammered with wind out here, which makes boat control difficult for my favorite techniques... But ive been lucky past couple of trips, just enough breeze to break up light from the surface in this new clear water hole ive been learning my way around

Went outside today about 1pm and it was only 78 degrees. August in Texas and it's only 78 degrees? I'm scared.

Been down into the upper 90's the last couple days. Think I'm getting a chill. May have to put on a sweater.

Seems like stupidity knows no bounds these days. The local power company wants me to sign up for one of their apps so I can be notified when the power goes off. It's been well over 100 degrees lately and the house immediately starts getting warm the instant the a/c goes off. Not to mention the glaringly obvious darkness when the lights don't come on at the flick of a switch. Even if the power went out while I was away from home what am I going to do about it? Call the power company?

A friend let us borrow a portible unit Sunday,its gotten the house down to 85.... I think we will be moved out of here before they get it fixed...... Btw, this is the 3rd time this summer

I feel your pain... Or maybe a little more
Our a/c has been out for 10 days now.. But it hasnt gotten over 108 out here
The insurance company sent someone to fix it until they could replace the unit.... But they cant find the part........ Now they are still looking for the part instead of replacing the unit
Ive had about all the stupidity i can take!
