    Decal paper

    we use papilio  clear waterslide paper for inkjet printers , we spray a good coat of Clear Acrylic  Spray, at first we sprayed 2 coats allowing the first coat to dry....but now we only spray one good coat and also we use them soon as we can because they will tend to harden and arent as easy to apply to the crank.........so far we have no complaints.....as mentioned before.....a good quality top coat will bring out the colors......we havent had any problems with hooks messing up the decal but we also use a good clear coat..not saying it cant happen but we have been throwing some of ours for 2-3 years

    my wife and i have orders from China before....and they always have shipped and its always been what we ordered.....and sometimes more than what we ordered too....shipping takes a little bit longer to get here tho....

    FYI, I found Devcon 2T (30 min)at Tower Hobbies online for $12.79 for the 9oz size with free shipping. Had it in a couple days. That's the cheapest I've found anywhere, I can't get it locally. Carry on!!

    i use an old toothbrush.....pour a little paint on it then use my thumb to splatter the crank.....you have to experiment on how far away from the bait to hold the toothbrush bristles.....thats how i have always dont the splatter back cranks...

    I love the do-it brush jig mold. Makes a awesome 1/4oz jig with 3/0 hook Get the stiffer weedguards and it hardly ever gets hung up

    do you think my Football Head Brush Jig Mold in 1/4 oz would be OK to use? .....i only need to pour about 20 Finesse Jigs..

    its me again....mr many questions.......what jig mold do you guys use? i want to tie some Finesse Jigs and wanted to know what Jig Mold works best.....i will be tying mainly 1/4oz Finesse Jigs

    Are you getting the Mustad hooks as well? Just ask for a sample of the 4/0 and see if that works as well.

    yes ....do they give a sample hook?  i will sure ask......be better to get a sample hook as to pay for a whole pack and they dont work.....

    According to lure parts online, the Mustad 37194 is a Mustad equivalent to the Gami 674 so if the Gami works so should the Mustad. The thing is, I email Lure Parts before about the 674 and I was told it doesn't fit that mold without modification but I guess it does and if so then the Mustad should work.

    i also emailed them a couple days ago concerning this also.....i ask if the Gami Special Bend Hooks would fit the Mold.......and their reply was...."Yes it fits".......kind of brief and to the point.......so i am assuming it fits.......i will let you guys know in a couple days when i get the hooks......

    Glad I could help ya out.  It's a nice mold and I really wish there was a standard Mustad/EC/VMC hook that would fit in it.  I'd much rather pay $0.10 than $0.35.

    i am going to order a single pk of the VMC 7346BN Special Bend Hooks and also a pack of the Mustad 37194 BLN Special Bend Hooks and see how much modification is needed on the Mold in order to use those......

    The Gami is a drop in replacement.  No modifying the mold needed...if you get the G674 hooks.

     

    thank you ......they sure do.......i really appreciate you guys......i was about to sell my new mold.....but now maybe i can afford to buy a good top quality hook as a replacement to the EC Trokar Hooks.......man they are expensive......but i guess we get what we pay for....but for us....Gami Hooks are top of the line......

    sooooo......now my next question is....have any of you guys tried to modify the Trokar Football Jig Mold so you can use the Gami Special Bend Hooks....sorry for so many questions but i have the Trokar Football Mold and want to use a less expensive hook as what The Eagle Claw Special Bend Trokar Hooks cost.....

    Hey guys , its me again...Mr Many Questions........i did a search but didnt find anything......is there a way to determine the depth the lure will run buy the size of the lip/bill on the crank?
