  1. Also, now to think of it, best place and size of media?
  2. Guys thanks for the info. Getting started on this adventure!
  3. I have yet to start my own process, but am looking into it. As far as the kool-aid yeah I drink it lol. Especially when I find them on sale. I've tried Yum Dingers and the Ocho and they don't deliver for me.
  4. And there you have it. A proprietary formula. The only knock on the Senko is its durability, but nothing has its action. A confidence bait for sure!
  5. Another thing to wonder on the idea of plastisol, who's the producer of the material? Seeing as how he pioneered into Japan, is that the source? We all know how they're perfectionist. I've tried other stick baits, but nothing works, as we all know, like his Senko.
  6. Other than the logo do they match? I was ordering some of these as well.
  7. So no one uses any bead media?
  8. Hey guys, anyone have a recipe that is nearly as perfect as if Yamamoto made it himself? IE what brand of plastic, salt, bead and such... Thanks
  9. I used a 11/O hook and slid a 3/8 oz bass caster sinker on the hook. Then I poured the plastic in the mold. It swims great and dives at the nose. When I start pouring with new plastic I'll make a YouTube and post it. I couldn't upload the vid from my phone. Thanks for the color idea. Yeah we have shad and crappie. I can't wait to take it to Lake Guntersville.
  10. Thanks for the support! I bass fish here in GA. I fish out of my kayak on the creeks and rivers. So, I catch largemouth, spots and line sides. Also, we have smallies and shoalies in other areas. I really can't wai to take this to Guntersville, the hatch are enormous out there.
  11. It swam great earlier today. I can't wait to pour it with better plastic and get it in the river!
  12. Not perfect, but it's awesome. After making my master out of craft Popsicle sticks and clay, making a mold out of POP, I have finally made my bait. Thanks to this website to which I came across less than a week ago I have achieved success. Thanks to those on tis site for help, especially Mantase and the videos from his website. I was trying to use silicon caulk and mess to make my mold, but it was a terrible episode of Breaking Bad
  13. I found the use of a vacuum pump interesting as I'm am new to this "hobby". Are guys using a refrigeration gauge? If so sometimes they will not reach -30 microns as we want to see it. I do HVAC/R and when I vaccum a system down with mechanical hoses sometimes you get a gauge that will never show that point physically. They do on the other hand have a digital gauge, but the cost though. I think if you pull a vacuum for at least 30 min to an hour in a pressure pot then you should be good to go. I live in the southeast and humidity is a bear! Good luck I hope this made sense
