  1. Does anyone here have an idea of the cap size of the MF manufacturing colorant bottles? I’m tired of loosing those tiny red caps! So I want to order the Yorker twist caps to replace them. Any help would be awesome. Thanks again guys

  3.  I buy silicone “mold Release and conditioner”. At about every 25 pours or so I wipe them clean and spray them down with it and let it dry. Seems to make them last longer for me. I get it on amazon I think castin craft is the maker

  4. I just ordered bass tackles 6oz twin injector las Monday and got it on Friday. I know it shows I there website the single is sold out but u might want to call them and see if that is actually true.

I've also tried dipping but I just don't like the way it looks. So when I had my custom molds made I had separate molds made specifically for the tails. They look so much better and work great!

I shook it like I do with all the other plastisols I used. Do I need to stir this stuff?

No usually a real good shake for about a minute does the trick. I usually shake mine really well and don’t have that problem. Did u heat it to 350 degrees

  7. All this is great info and tips one thing I make sure to do after I'm finished each day is to take the injector apart and give it a good cleaning inside and out. I use a baby bottle brush I stole from my wife's kitchen, with a tiny bit rubbing alcohol.  And this helps me clean out all the plastisol stuck to the walls left over inside the injector. than I lube up the inside of the injector and the O Rings on the plunger and tip. Then I put it back together and pump it a few times back and forth and its ready to go the next time I'm going to shoot baits. not sure if it anyone else does this but man it works great and keeps it clean and lubed up

I would warm the mold, take a cotton swab and cooking oil and lube the tails, inject holding some pressure for a bit and see how it goes before I did any mold modifications.

That is how I get my baby brush hog and twin tail grub molds to shoot.

thanks to everyone for the help gonna try this first before filing the mold for sure. What is the best way to preheat the molds?
