this crank bait I built just to see If I could lol, not even sure if it would float. the dark back is made with black walnut, the light belly is made with maple and the perch like stripes are inlayed cherry wood. it took me 8 hours straight for all the carving and wood construction . it is through wire also which took some time with the hardwood. my risk was with great reward as it floats and has the greatest hunting action I have ever seen (more life like than a rapala scatter rap)
