  1. Hey Ben at what ratio are you thinning the MCU.
  2. Yes to start I've been dipping my baits in MCU for a couple years now and also will use Etex when I want a quicker turn around on my clears. But I was wondering what the possibilities are with spraying a MCU like Dick Nite for baits. I was thinking it would be more efficient in the case of clearing a big swimbait rather than brushing on a clear. Thoughts?
  3. I have not only painted and sold a bunch but I fish them as well and they are really great lures. I love em.
  4. Yeah I'm a bit skeptical myself that's why I asked here before I ruin a bait. Waiting on my order of clear from DN to compare to what I've been using from Garco. The Garco just seems to take so long and so many seem to think DN dries quicker and harder than Garco.
  5. Yes I've seen it posted somewhere but can't remember what it all detailed. It was someone saying that they would take a lure off the curing rack after a day or so of sitting with MCU and toss it in a bucket of water and then dry it off to speed up curing time. Is this true and what kind of tips if it is?
  6. Hey Cougar could you email me the link to your site. Speedbump_21@yahoo.com
  7. I personally dip all my lures in Pledge future floor shine and let it dry for a day before I dip in my Garco MCU. I've never had an issue with that process. Although I've never mixed pledge into my paints and sprayed thru my brush. I only use createx reducer for that. I am thinking about giving DN S81 a shot after this can of garco is gone though.
  8. Like Dinger said try to stick with what everyone else has said and also give Dingerbaits.com a try. He's got a growing list of products and top notch service. You can't beat it.
