  1. That he does. Lol that video made me start with this swimbaits. https://youtu.be/sd8SN0Xzxfo Here's my way of doing things from start to finish lol
  2. I'm just havin. A problem with being stubborn and not wanting to reduce lol
  3. sorry its been forever since I made these but i finally went out and fished them and boy did they work.. video is uploading on youtube at the moment if you subscribe to brandond20 you can watch it when it comes up. it is late so you'll probably see this when it is already uploaded. just getting into the video editing side of things and this was my test run. came down with a cold so I'm a little sniffly lol. but I will also be uploading the few hours of fishing i did with these. let me know how you like the video and what i can work on with that as well thanks very much for all the comments everybody! I'm real happy with these
  4. That could be my issue. For some reason if I remember correctly I saw 15 psi lol. Im running like 20-25 psi. Next time I do some painting I'll bump it up and see if that helps any
  5. I'm using an iwata eclipse hp-bc I think. It's not mine so I have no clue what the specs are on it. It just doesn't spray some colors I have to hold my thumb over the cup to get it to spray. Sometimes it just doesn't spray color and then I release the trigger and it shoots a glob out. I know they need to be reduced I just haven't that part down. I either don't reduce enough or reduce too much. And I don't paint enough to pour exact amounts out to log what I did to get it right. I have some colors I can shake well enough and pour in the airbrush and shoots good. But I have to break it down and clean the airbrush between colors for it to work
  6. Oh geez pressure is on I guess lol. I'll do one up next week. Thanks!
  7. Thanks guys! Can't wait to get em out on the water tomorrow. Airbrushing is frustrating at least for me lol I bought the spike it colors or whatever the other brand on their site is and they don't work for me. I hate reducing and want a color that I can just pour and spray. I have some colors that don't work but the main colors I'll be using which are these ones shown work good and they are createx paints that I had from painting hardbaits.
  8. Definitely a learning curve lol ruined one by not having the clear plastic for dipping hot enough and it came out terrible. But the others I did came out awesome. working out some issues with my airbrush but all in all happy
  9. I know you said solid but my ultra mold hollow is awesome. I've only done a few and havent fished them yet but I can already tell they are gunna be great. I'm injecting clear and airbrushing and getting some pretty good stuff lol
  10. Put my ultramolds hollow body swimbait to use. Injected a few and got a couple painted. Airbrush is being weird so only got a couple painted
  11. Will do! Any plan on making a bigger hollow body mold? I'd definitely be interested in a 6" and/or 7"
  12. I got my 5" hollow body swimbait mold in today. It is awesome. Makes a great bait. Now just need to get out and throw em
  13. so instead of making a new post I'll revive my old one. I never really fished with any of the worms I did from earlier. Just have a hard time getting away from the real thing. And the confidence of a real senko made right just didn't help. so I further attempted to make a correct senko. Salt and all. Ordered some softener got some canning/pickling salt and made an attempt. I only did a few runs and ended up with 6/8. Not bad to me. There is a bit of settling in a couple of em which is hard for me to figure out. I'm stirring like crazy to keep it mixed well and injecting fast. But I'm actually really pleased with how they turned out. As stated before about the weights they came out .530-.553oz. Which is give or take .01oz heavier. Not bad! i did kind of eye ball the measurements because I took the old watermelon/green pumpkin/red flake looking worms from before and scrapped them for these. So it wasn't a full 1 cup of plastic. But did like everyone has said and did ~1cup plastic/~1/2cup salt/~1/4cup softener. I think I'll have a little more confidence to throw these since they are a lot more similar to the real thing. Time will tell. Sorry for the long post just like to give all the details! Thanks for looking
  14. Thanks Mike. Those look good! Do you think two inserts can be used at a time? I'm sure they'll swim the same. I can tell the tail is a little thicker as well. Frank meaning dipped starting out as a piece of metal and just keep dipping till the desired size? ( as in the video you have up from awhile ago. I just watched that the other night lol) Or injected painted then dipped? That video is what made me pull the trigger on that mold ha
  15. Thanks for the reply! How comparable to a basstrix is the final product? Any pics of some you've done? i also ordered some paint to just shoot a clear swimbait, paint then dip
