  1. Looked at Clear bags, might go that route. There's a guy up here that had me very gun shy on even asking the price with the quotes he was giving me... lol
  2. Appreciate the help. I am guessing the heated mold might do the trick. It's only 20`30 degrees here in NY and I turn the heat on right before I pour so that would make sense. I usually start with cold molds because they do heat up so fast. I will go back to using my hot plate again. I'm running my plastic at 345-350 degrees and any hotter sometimes yellows it. I do not want to hand inject, spent too much $$ on the Jacobs. lol Thanks again!
  3. Would love to have this information as well! Tired of printing labels! lol
  4. Anyone have any suggestions on getting the small center tails to pour entirely on this mold? I use the Jacobs Pro series usually at 18 psi, but no matter whether I raise or lower the psi, I get inconsistent pours on it. The mold is the Basstackle 538 Creature mold. The sprue starts at the top, winds down the side and injects into the bait cavities from underneath. My temperature is good, its just not filling the small tail cavities. Worst case, I'll just cut them even but I did ike how long they were... Thanks for the help in advance.
  5. You do great work, can't wait to see what else you come out with!
  6. Received my molds and VERY VERY happy. The DRW400 is absolutely amazing! Shoots awesome and the ribs to the tail make for some awesome action as a drop shot...loving it! The DRW300 shot great too, but the bait is just too small for my style of fishing. The 4in Swimmer top inject is amazing as well. Shot laminates as soon as I got it and they came out great. Next day tried them in a paper tourney ...the action in that tail goes about midway up the bait, not just the tail. Perfect! Definitely ordering more DRW400s and the 4 in swimmer!
  7. OK, got the molds in 4 days! Excellent! Loving the action of the DRW molds. Will be ordering again in the near future!
  8. I like what I'm reading. Just ordered three molds to try out, if I like them, I'll definitely order more!
  9. Bob, I totally understand and agree. If you have on method of contacting and returning calls/ emails fine...no issue. But I got absolutely NOTHING, zilch zero nada for a month. I used the contact page two weeks after I ordered, nothing. Only after the 4 week mark when I used it again did I get a response and it was "Your molds will ship today" ...they shipped two days after that. The thoughts that were going through my mind...did I just get ripped off? Is this guy even still in business? Is there a family issue? All he had to do is respond to one message and let me know the timeframe. When the money is paid, you are obligated to provide me some form of customer service. I'm just a small time shop hoping to get bigger.... I understand I can sell a bag of baits to anyone, but if I provide a good product and in a timely manner, that one bag may turn into several ...and word of mouth will lead to even more. I've increased my business 4 fold in the past 6 months because I will email them with hours and have the baits in the mail within 48 hours. I get it, molds take much longer. I will be buying a lot more molds in the future, have bought 12 this year already. From who is the question. Maybe the one who works with me the best.... Endstate: All I wanted was an update ...instead I got a headache, a bit of stress and then some relief after they arrived 5 weeks later. Happy in the end, very nice molds.
  10. I did finally get a reply today. I used the "contact us". All the email said is it would ship today. Not sure what's going on. I'm easy to get along with, I just want to be updated on stuff, that's al. I don't even care if it takes a month, as long as I know.
  11. Guys... Anyone know what is going on with Bob's Tackle Shop? I have two orders pending for over a month, a few others do as well. I know they take time to make as well. Cannot get a return call, email, instant message, nothing. If there's a family issue or something I get it, just let us know. Would like an update, paid for it, but don't have it ... I read good things on this board and thread, but not seeing it in real life. Thanks
