  1. Use pure salmon oil, can get it at most pet shops. I tried Pro Cure salmon oil but the scent is not what i thought was strong enough to really work with.
  2. Really appreciate the advice, ordering a vac asap. Makes alot more sense to treat the problem myself instead of chasing the dream of bubble free plastic. Thanks!!
  3. like the one Bear sells?
  4. What are your thoughts on calhouns? Looking like ill be ordering MF today but just trying to feel all my options out.
  5. That has crossed my mind a couple times but man i hate to have to put the extra time and money into this plastic to get it to work.. But you could be right just gotta deal with it sometimes.
  6. using a metal kitchen spoon, i believe its stainless.
  7. Im sure this has been talked about a bunch so i apologize in advance if Im beating a dead horse... Been injecting for about a year and have tried a few different plastics M-F saltwater, essential series, & spike lure works. So far the M-F has been my favorite and was the first plastic i used. Currently have 20 gal of spike it that is giving me hell!! The micro bubble content is insane. I switched from microwave to a presto this evening and the bubble content reduced but there is still a large amount of bubbles. Now this being the first time i used a presto Im thinking maybe my process is flawed. So here is what i did: - Poured 4 cups of room temp plastic - Brought temp up to 225 while stiring - Increased to 300 while stiring - then when plastic began to thicken and clear up brought it up to 350 stiring - once plastic reached 350 i dropped the pot to about 335-340 and kept stiring - added necessary color and such then began injecting. Thankfully i was injecting a solid black bait so the micro bubbles didnt really show but im still floored. Should i just scrap all this plastic and go back to M-F? Or should i give calhouns a try? Thank you for your input!! Tight Lines!!
  8. Yes I have, they are in the Ukraine and as you could imagine its takes a while for the molds to come in. I ordered 5 molds and took right at 4wks to receive them. Edik is very helpful, Im currently designing a few custom molds with them right now just some common baits that i coundlnt find molds for in the US. If you dont mind the shipping time I highly recommend them. They have a facebook page as well.
  9. Thank you for the help... Much appreciated!
  10. What do you mean by dust them up?... Got them from bait mold guy is out of the Ukraine found him on ebay. He has a bunch of styles and is dirt cheap i gave $12 a piece for that mold. Took like a month to get to the states though.
  11. I picked up a few injection molds last week they seem to be made of a synthetic stone but they produce a dull bait. What do you guys thinking about using some of the methods listed above to seal it? These molds were very cheap and work great. If i could get a shine out of them it would be awesome.
  12. Thanks... Any suggestions on where. Right now im using janns netcraft colorant for the purple. But i also have been mixing BST colors too.
  13. I have a swimbait that i inject puple body with chartreuse tail and after a few days the purple will start to migrate into the chartreuse. Anyone have this happen or know how i can prevent it. I dont have an issue with any other color so far except purple.
