  1. Welcome to the forum Pete. Looking forward to seeing some of your Lures and Baits.
  2. I Googled what 21xdc said and this is what I found. http://www.pepperlures.com/metal-baits.html
  3. Bass. Because Bass run in schools here in Texas in the Summer time. When we see the shad jumping on top of the water, you can bet there are Bass under them - so we throw any thing that resembles a wounded shad. The bigger bass are usually deeper so with the clattering double spoon it is heavy enough to get down to them quick. Although I'm sure it would be good on Lake trout or pike. Some of you guys up north ought to try this. Let me know how it works out.
  4. Have you ever seen this before? I took two spoons and put them together added a treble hook with a red and white bucktail and added a swivel on the front. The theory is the two spoons will clatter against one another as they go through the water. Comments Welcome.
  5. I don't tell my dr. What I do. The less they know the better off I am.
  6. Oops, I will try to get the quote & post together next time.
  7. I like using red hooks when I can. I think it gives the illusion of blood. Otherwise I like black nickle.
  8. I've bought several from Janns Netcraft http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/Search/split%20rings.aspx and never had a problem. I use sizes 2, 3, & 5.
