  1. When making a hook bend tail spin jig what do you all like to retain the swivel/blade array? Those Charlie Brewers Whirly Bee spinners have some sort of tubing it appears to me. When I make one using hand tied material I can make a thread bump. However I am looking for other ways to retain the array.
  2. I was wondering how casting sinkers are made...how do they get the wire in there? Are they machine produced? I do mine by hand but knowing how the big companies produce them might be a real help to a home tackle maker.
  3. Thanks uttexas, I got in touch with Charlie Brewer this morning, I really like their stuff too. What I am looking for from Berkley is that 3.5" grass pig jr. still working on that one...
  4. I am designer noob who has a bug ready for market. It needs a 3.5" swim bait like a Berkley Grass Pig Jr. (boot tail, sock tail, paddle tail, paddle foot etc.) preferably without the hook slot. I would prefer to stay USA. I am still hunting around for a generic OEM as none of the name brands have the interest or the capacity to handle my needs.
  5. I have a lure coming out this spring (if all goes well) and need to finish my cost estimates. It's a spinner bait that will go on a card with wrap. Any tips, tricks, advice and/or information about companies who package goods or any ideas on packing line models (machine assist vs. full automation for example, should we decide to do it ourselves), would be enthusiastically received.
