  1. 10" Double bladed trolling bucktail. Fire Tiger colored blades/beads/hair/tail. Keel weighted to keep the bait from rolling at high speeds. Double 5/0 hooks. 2 OZ total weight with additional weight hidden on the main wire under the bucktail hair. Hand poured plastic tail trailer.
  2. 6" wood crank bait. Turned on a lathe with hand carving tools. The pieces of wood I use for my home made applications are random pieces of scrap lumber. This particular one was made from a piece of pine that I turned down. Then I cut the angle on the head to attach the diving bill. 100% thru wire construction including the hook hangers. Wood is sealed with spar urethane to prevent water logging and top coated with a hardware store style spray paint from a can. Finally epoxy coated for further water proofing. The bait shown is shallow diving with a wide wobbling action...
  3. Rapala Super Shad...I use a very low budget painting approach. Just spray paint cans from the hardware store for paint and some cardboard cut outs I make myself from cereal boxes along with mesh fruit containers for patterns.
  4. Hand poured tails made for trailing my Musky Bucktails. I melt down old plastics in the microwave using a Pyrex measuring cup and re-pour into a purchased but modified to my liking rubber mould. This is the only way that I have found to customize my colors to get an edge by giving the fish a different look.
