  1. G'day guys, Recently was able to finish up a rather big project. The molding process on my first ever urethane stickbait design was finalized. In the video below I run through how I made the design based on stickbaits I previously designed and show the swimming action with an underwater pool test video. Let me know what you think. Cheers! 2. Thanks guys! I've got another video coming up that I'm working on right now to increase the durability on big softbaits where these Magdrafts will make another return. I'll post it when that project is finished!
  3. G'day guys, I know it's not completely lure building related but I made a video explaining how to tune the wiring on the Megabass Magdraft Swimbaits. I assume this will translate to other swimbaits with internal wiring. Figured I'd share it! Megabass Magdraft Wire Tuning https://youtu.be/4QCJo96MCkI
  4. G'day guys, I had been asked a couple of times to make a video on how to design and make speed jigs (mostly used for offshore gamefishing) I have finally put a video together and figured I'd share it with y'all. Cheers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg_LSsCUJcM
  5. G'day Guys, It's been a while but I just finished up another lure building project, and as per usual, I decided to record all the steps. This time I actually make use of a shedded deer antler I found while hunting in South Texas and I turn it into a spoon designed for redfish. Let me know what you think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiGr3gfc7lU
  6. G'day guys, My wife insisted that I'd use our old furniture for lure building (I know, she's a keeper) so that gave me the opportunity to make a new video and build me a chunky topwater for bass. Enjoy the video, cheers!
  7. That would be a great idea! It's almost a combination of survival & fishing comp! Imagine if the bassmaster classic starts off with everyone in their garage only allowed to use materials found around the lake during the prefish hahaha
  8. Thanks fellas! Those shoelace bass are solid! Awesome stuff. In an industry where marketing of the newest lure designs promise to be absolute dynamite, perhaps we need a lot more of simple lure fishing basics! Thanks for the review Dave!
  9. G'day guys, So for a new little video series I'm trying to set up on Youtube, called Carve, Cast, Catch. I've started off on the first episode and wanted to show that the most basic of lures can be successfully be made without too much material. I therefore decided to carve a simple topwater, walk-the-dog lure out of a wooden stick I found outside. Please let me know what you think. Cheers!
  10. After designing this new GT lure, I decided on foiling and painting it in a Nemo themed color. Hope you guys enjoy the video. Cheers!
  11. G'day Guys, I just finished up a crankbait build for the pre-spawn coming up. I recorded every step as per usual. Hope you guys like the video, Enjoy!
  12. Here's a video of how I built my reversible squid stickbait. I will be using the bait for both GT and Tuna casting.
  13. G'day guys, I did some custom artwork on one of the prototype swimbaits I've been testing. Here's the video
  14. G'day guys, It has been a while but I finally was able to find some time to work on a new project. This time I built a small sinking stickbait for a friend of mine. As per usual here is the video on the project.
  15. Finished up this little stickbait for a friend of mine. It's always bugged me how poorly balanced most walk-the-dog stickbaits are so I figured I'd put a lot of effort into perfectly balancing this one. Enjoy!
  16. Thanks Chuck, I had no idea I could post a link there. Cheers!
  17. Here's my little lure dryer building process. Let me know if you have any questions. Should be pretty straight forward. Enjoy!
  18. Hi guys, I've been in a 2.5 week long swimbait making project but she's finally finished up! Enjoy!
  19. G'day guys, Just finished another lure making project and as per usual; here is the video. This time we gave a big surface popper (pencil) a go. Let me know what you think. Cheers!
  20. G'day fellas, I just finished up my Diving Popper Project. As per usual I recorded the whole process. Let me know what you think!
  21. Hi guys, Since I've had a couple of purchasing requests over the last year and a half or so my mate and I have decided to start selling our hand built swimbaits. Here's a quick video on them!
  22. G'day guys, I finally finished up a little jerkbait project I've been working on for quite some time. Here are part 1 and 2. Since the lure will be sent overseas to Australia to be tested on Barramundi, part three will be filmed by a good friend of mine to record the results with this lure. Let me know what you think!
  23. G'day fellas, I've had a couple of questions regarding balancing out stickbaits. Since there are many variables I figured I'd make a couple of videos on this topic. Here's part 1.
