  1. MonteSS- that's nice. What brand craw were you using? I liked the floating pinchers and the skirt materials constant movement was killer. How many strands do you pass thru at 1 time? That must have been a big needle!
  2. Toadfrog right now I am hand bending with needle nose and round bend pliers. I am just doing this for a hobby/fun. When I say panfish/bass size I am meaning 1/8 to 1/4 oz sized lures. I mainly fish small rivers and ponds in north Florida. I am not a big bass fisherman I like to catch what's biting. I have found I catch more on down sized lures not big heavy bulky lures.
  3. Hey, toadfrog. You have any pictures of that fuzzy grub? Were you basin' or pan fish in'?
  4. Hey, I have been messing around with twisting some inline spinners for panfish and bass. I want to branch out and make some spinnerbaits. What size wire could I buy in bulk that would meet the needs for both tasks. I currently use number2 clevices on my inlines. I don't want to buy multiple sizes. I want simple and inexpensive.
  5. Is the bearing mentioned the metal bead on the wire just behind the clevice? How does the size of that bead/bearing affect blade spin? If there is clearance from front wire twist to clevice how does the length of the wire shaft affect blade spin?
  6. I am new to tackle building. I wanted to build an inline spinner that is weedless using a ewg small worm hook and a 2 - 3 inch curly tail grub. I tried it out today and it caught fish. I used a French blade. Problem was it didn't turn all the time. Would a Colorado blade work better and not require a rod jerk to start spinning?
