Thanks. I kinda figured that on the handle but didnt know how it would effect the rod performance. Also thanks for the info on the rod spacing chart. Didnt even think to look at Mud Hole

I am building a 2wt 7'6 fly rod. Is there a standard handle size or are they built depending on the length of the rod and how do you determine the length of the handle. Also is there a method for determining the amount and spacing of the guides. I know these are simple questions but Im pretty new at this game.
