  1. Got my mold back from the machine shop. I’ll pour some ton Guy Lord willing and see the results. Looks promising!
  2. There’s definitely some improvements to be made on my mold modifications, but I don’t think it turned out to bad. That’s. 1/4 oz with a 4/0 heavy wire VMC hook. I am taking the mold to a local machine shop, to see if they can tweak the 3/8oz slot for me.
  3. Hey dudes! I am about to modify a that mold, and I have the shank part figured out, but I am not sure how I am going to tackle the hook eye part of the mold, any suggestions? The hook I am going to use is the VMC 7217 4/0 30 degree hook. I am going to try to modify the 1/4 oz first to fit the Mustad 32886 4/0 hook and if I am successful, I am going to "modify" the 3/8oz and 1/2oz. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
  4. What’s the verdict on these? Specifically the Matzuo 152 Sickle Jig Hooks. Have any of you may have used them on flipping jigs? If so, how did they work for you? I just picked up some 5/0 to test, and was just wondering if y’all had any experience with them. Any pros and cons you guys have with these hooks? Thanks,
  5. I fished these jigs hard today and didn’t get a nibble. All they wanted was a senko!! They stand up very nicely in the water, not to mention, they are extremely weed less which is why I purchased this mold. So far, so good. Now I need to test them on some fish!
  6. This is definitely going in the panic box! Owner 3/0 3X hook, 1/4oz.
  7. I got it from eBay. I can't remember the company's name, but I can get the name when I get home. I
  8. First time jig pourer. These are my first jigs ever!! I am waiting on the epoxy to cure. Jigs shown are 1/2oz with a 4/0 Owner 3X 5317 jig hook. Thanks Jigman for the advice. I’ll post some pictures of the completed product. I got the powder all over my shop, and there is powder all over the hook eye. Looking forward in learning more of this stuff. I looked like a medieval Knight, fighting the crusades. I had on every piece of safety equipment there was. I guess I have found another black hole to throw money at!
