  1. I used olive oil on the o-ring and to grease molds until I got worm oil, and it seemed to last longer than anything else I tried.
  2. Being budget friendly is what they are made for and the will fish, I just my new P. B. Sunday on a ribbon tail from an essientals mold. I've also got a couple ceramic(stone) molds from bugmold.com and Authentic Handmade's site. They are out of the Ukraine and shipping is a little slow, but the molds hold up well to the heat and the offer a ton of options.
  3. I know, the wait is a killer, lol. I am actually thinking about ordering a 10" worm and a new craw mold from them.
  4. It depends on which mold you get, I have a senko, penny tail grub, and chubby grub mold that if you oil them before shooting they look fine. But the 5" Fluke I got comes out really dull even with oil. I did shoot mine with engine enamel and they come out a lot better. Really if you weight the cost of the mold and the $12-15 for the paint it's pretty close on just going ahead and ordering the better mold, I think it was $59?
  5. I was curious about those, I saw them on ebay but never pulled the trigger. My wife got me several of the Do-it essentials for Christmas so I've been shooting a few of them.
  6. I've also picked up some cheap single cavity stone type molds from Baitmolds and Fatfish.
  7. Angling A.I. has molds, they're a little pricey but they look awesome! anglingai.com I just got a Do-It Essential Series Mold from Barlows Tackle, they were the cheapest aluminum I could find @ $32.
  8. I found out the hard way, a small amount of plastic in a small pyrex cooks way faster than the same amount in a large cup. If you have ever questioned whether you burnt your plastic, trust me, you'll know!! Newb's got to learn some how!
