  1. Recently bought the Do-It Crappie Spinnerbait mold to try and soon found that the indicated hook was almost non existent. Managed to find some 455s in #6 but also need a straight shank #4 and #2 for this mold. Any ideas out there? Most regular spinnerbait hooks are 2/0 and larger. Looks like the 455 is discontinued by Eagle Claw???
  2. I have been trying to make this pattern on soft swimbaits for a while, and nothing seems to work i.e., colors and shapes remain sharp. Is there some trick to this? I have tried skinpours with powders, painting with airbrush paint-- complete fails. Also tried sharpies. Suggestions???
  3. worm oil. Keep the pins in a baggie with the oil that way they are always lubed.
  4. I am starting to make chatterbaits and the most commonly used jig (from what I can tell) is the Do-It Poisontail, with or without weedguards. I already have the Manic Mullet mold, which looks pretty similar-- do I really need to get another mold or can I make the Mullet work? Thoughts......
  5. Yes I use those also for most molds, just wanted them for a couple of other things like blending blocks. Thanks for your reply.
  6. Hi Folks-- just got my first molds from Angling AI and those brass "Nuts" that close them work so much better than the butterflies on some of my other molds-- any idea what they are called/where to get some?
