  1. I mainly use BP plastisol and MF colorants with no issues except for denting when only using AI molds, never any denting with BTS molds.
  2. Was the guy 'Ken' from Preferred Plastics in Southern California?
  3. I got some actual knobs that were a 1/4-20 thread to use.
  4. Hey Guys, Happy Holidays all around. A friend in Texas asked me if I could make this worm. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find this ribbed worm mold. It says 'Power Worm' on the tail. No, it's not Berkley. The Guy that was making them for him passed away. Any ideas? Thanks.
  5. BP 242 is my go to plastic. I've been able to reheat the plastic until I'm left with just a puck. And I do use a heat stabilizer.
  6. I found the #242 to be very user friendly. I've reheated it 6-7-8 times without discoloration. I do use a splash of heat stabilizer.
  7. Bait Plastics is the most user friendly plastisol that I've ever used.
  8. And down here in Green Acres which is about an hour north of San Diego we have gotten "only" 2.44" of rain.
  9. I'm an advid Upland Game Bird hunter. I used to race in the deserts of Southern California but only now cruise in the deserts and sand dunes. I'm also a world wide player of Links 2003 golf.
  10. Hey Guys. I clean my injector tubes after finishing up a run of a color every time. I take the injector apart and then use a bottle brush and then run a micro fiber towel through it and it cleans up really nice. But this doesn't work so well when using DOP plastisol. This stuff is nasty when it comes to cleaning up. It's sticks to everything. The Bait Plastics plastisol cleans up nice but not the DOP. I wanted to try DOP and see what the hoopla was about but when I finish this gallon I'm sticking with Bait Plastics. Anybody have any tricks for cleaning up after using DOP?
  11. I made my own laminate plates out of the Dollar Store flat pie tins.
  12. I've gotten my Angling AI molds in about 4-5 weeks.
  13. Bait Plastics is some good stuff. And they have free shipping on a gallon of it.
  14. I've used the Essential and the MF plastisols and they work fine as long you're not reheating them more than a couple of times. I've found that even with heat stabilizer the lighter colors start to darker very quickly with both brands. The Bait Plastics plastisol seems to be very user friendly for me. I do have a gallon of DOP but I've yet to use it.
  15. I'm getting ready to try the DOP black label for the first time also and I'm not gonna get a vacuum chamber just to use DOP plastisol.
  16. Hey Guys. Another question about salt. A buddy of mine wanted some watermelon Senkos with red/black flake and he wanted them heavier than a regular Senko. He said to load them up with salt. I realize that too much salt distorts the color and I tried to tell him that but he didn't care. "I want to taste it" is what he said. lol. I mixed up a 8oz cup of Bait Plastics #242 plastisol, with heat stabilizer, and went with it. The baits looked great until I added the salt in. It didn't matter if it was MF salt or ground up rock salt. What types of salts are you Guys using and what kind of quantities are you using to get to that 10.7 gram weight of a Yamamoto Senko? At what point is too much salt? Thanks, Rick
  17. Zeiner's carries the Do-It mold line. Their customer service is great.
