  1. Ok, ive been building balsa wood lures for 3 years now and have come across several topics involving propionate sealer. Th issue i am having is 1) determining what type of propionate (cellulose propionate, cellulose acetate propionate, etc...) & 2) where to get this stuff. This stuff is hard to find!! I am asking for help to locate this stuff! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  2. I am trying to get into carving my hard body lures from wood by hand. I was wondering what tools any of you would recommend as a must have for that job. So far i have been using a sharp knife and a dremel engraver for fine detail. It works but I want to know how to make things more productive with better tools.
  3. Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas. I make my own wooden baits and cut the dive lips out of plexi glass. I see some people doing this with the line tie going thru the lip and into the body. I have been trying to figure out how to do it this way instead of having to use screw eyes in the nose of the bait. I see that lure parts online sells the lips with a line tie already in them, but I would rather make them on my own. I guess its a lure builder pride thing. Haha! Does any one have any suggestions for me? Thanks Jay
