What can I use to soak my airbrush parts in with Createx 4008 Airbrush/Spray-Gun Cleaner? I used to use a glass cup, but it required too much restorer to cover the parts. TIA

I am a Canadian who is getting into custom lure painting. However I am having issues finding crankbait blanks that are cost efficient. Purchasing blanks from many of the large US suppliers is quite costly right now with the Canadian dollar at .74 cents to the dollar, before the large shipping costs. I am wondering if anyone knows any cheaper routes I can take to get quality blanks delivered to Canada. I found found numerous sellers on DHgate and Alibaba, but am unsure of their quality and cant justify ordering 100units at MOQ if they're non functional. Thanks in advance

Today i painted my very first lure and it was an old beat up Hot n Tot that i found when i was fishing and I removed the remaining paint and decided to paint it today and without having much airbrushing experience i went with a firetiger pattern and I am really happy with the way it turned out. now to add some epoxy and clear it and add some hooks but i just wanted to share my first lure with you guys! If you guys have any tips that could be useful for me with painting lures feel free to post them all help is appreciated. Thanks!

My version of Summer gill pattern, I used a Rat-L-trap style blank painted with a pearl white base followed by sunfish yellow , some violet for the stripes a bright orange belly and then added some violet hi-light mist to obtain a brilliant natural look, then finished with 2 coats of durable finish.

Hi everybody let me introduce myself. My name is Kyle and I've fished my whole life but never made a single lure. Then about 3 weeks ago i found Bear's and started pouring some soft plastics. Needless to say I was hooked which is what led me here. I think this stuff is awesome and even though I am BRAND new at it, I already love it. And the way that everybody is so willing to help others figure it out is just amazing to me. I really wish I would have known about this stuff (lure making and the forums) years ago, but anyway, here i am. So today i made my first crankbait. from scratch outta woo
