  1. I used HVAC tape for this one
  2. I tried using HVAC tape instead of foil and it works well. It is very sticky and easily manipulated into shape and very forging around curves. It also holds a scale pattern nicely. I bought a roll of 100ft x 4" for 12 bucks at the supply house my company uses. I urge anyone to try it.
  3. another bait chaser.
  4. another of my bait chasers.
  5. Same bait as the previous picture.
  6. I got the idea for this bait from a book on making wooden fishing lures. I changed it some from what the book said but it works great for bass and brook trout as well.
  7. Stash Baits

    Buzz Hard Baits

Technically a hybrid I guess, but they are a lot of fun to fish.
  8. This is the third of my wild looking baits.
  9. I like making these. I know they don't look natural, but they reflect a lot of light and I enjoy making them. Tell me what you think.
  10. This is another one that I did for fun. Let me know what you think.
  11. I was in a mood to do something a little different so....here it is. I know this is not very practical or realistic looking, in fact it is kind of wild looking but I like to mix it up once in a while. This was something I did for the fun of it. My wife called this group of baits ( I made 3 of them ) my Fast and Furious Lures. Let me know what you think.
  12. This is a lure I made for Captain Bryant of Sanibel Custom Charters in Florida. We went on one of his charters and had a great time. I made it to match his logo on his website.
  13. To date, this is the biggest bait I have made yet. It is made from clear cedar and has holographic foil on the sides. It weighs 8 oz. and is 12" long.
