  1. Two nearly identical cranks with different shaped dive lips to compare the difference in action. Material, Shape, weight, hardware and finish are the same. (Weighted to near neutral) To my surprise the action was indistinguishable. Any input from the Dive Lip gurus appreciated.

  3. Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas. I make my own wooden baits and cut the dive lips out of plexi glass. I see some people doing this with the line tie going thru the lip and into the body. I have been trying to figure out how to do it this way instead of having to use screw eyes in the nose of the bait. I see that lure parts online sells the lips with a line tie already in them, but I would rather make them on my own. I guess its a lure builder pride thing. Haha! Does any one have any suggestions for me? Thanks Jay

this is one of my rattle shad-minnow combo that I make. I put a glass rattle in the belly of the shad horizontally. Both have a med. diving lip. This seems to be a good color here in central Ma. this year.
