  1. Hello everyone from NW Indiana! I'm new to this lure painting thing. I'm trying to get a pretty good idea on how to get started painting lures. If anyone can give me some tips or point me in the right direction on what material I will need such as what kind of paint do I use and the steps I have to take from start to finish. I would really appreciate the help guys. Thanks alot!

    Jon's Salmon Slammer

Jon's Salmon Slammer uses a spent .223 AR-15 bullet casing with eyes for the lure body. The Salmon Slammer mimicks two of a salmons favorite foods: candlefish and squid. This lure design has caught hundreds of both King (Chinook) and Siver (Coho) salmon

  5. Anyone Make their own flashers and/or dodgers? I'm interested in hydrodynamics and design, as I have a rough idea, but am in Florida, and so do not see alot of this... I do have a late 70s booklet on trolling, but that is all i've found. Curious about those on the big lakes, as to how much bend, degree, weight, size etc. Craig
