  1. This lure has a 5" body (10" with tail), and is hand carved from select A grade cedar. It also contains a super loud handmade rattle chamber in the head that takes full advantage of the head roll action this rat has when being retrieved. The lure is hand painted with a brush to achieve the most realistic presentation. Honestly, you can't see the real beauty of this bait until you see it in the water. Please check out my video below.

    Rat Wakebait

Here is a rat wakebait I made this summer. The paint job on this one is nothing fancy but it makes up for that in performance. it is carved from poplar and has a swiveling hook hanger. I sized this rat for everyday use. The body measures 4 inches. coated in d2t.

  5. Wake Bait in Rainbow Trout Pattern!
  6. Hi folks! I'm interested in painting a few wakebait bodies. There are two clone bodies that I am interested in particular. 1)Buzzjet Jr --Deppz Buzzjet clone, example link) 2) Megabass Anthrax Clone (example link) Any opinions on how these clones run in the water? I realize that they certainly won't run as nice as the originals, but could anyone provide any feedback on their performance? Thank you!
