  1. After giving it a lot of thought I've decided to try my hand at making wooden lures. There are several good YouTube video's on the subject and some that show a few of the tools needed to make wooden lures. My question is, What basic tools are needed to produce wooden lures, and are there any tools specific to lure making that I'll need? I'm primarily interested making my own in diving and vibrating baits. I appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
  2. Hey gents, working on some of my redwood square bills and looking for tips on how to keep them from blowing out at higher speeds. I found that with more ballast the chance of it blowing out is less, but if i go too heavy it sits lower than i want it to in the water. Any tips would be greatly appreciated it.
  3. I know it was posted before. There was a link to a wood supplier by one of you guys. Mainly looking for some red or white cedar. Just got a new Rikon band saw and am going to be tooling around with some custom designs again. Any links to reputable suppliers with quality stock in wood would be great. Thanks Guys!
  4. Has anyone tried or had success with epoxy primers. I was watching a Youtube video, and the guy dipped his wooden lure un sealed in Epoxy primer. Looks interesting.
