OK I guess it has been up long enough to see that I don't think any one will get this one..... The lure is the "Shag" by Shag Shaid .. He built it back in the 70's then later on in the 80's someone marketed it for him. Some of you may know him or know of him from his association with The Lew Childre Company ... He has been at a lot of shows around the country and does some trick casting. He is the one who designed the Fuji handle that Lew introduced. He is from Ft.w Walton Beach, FL.
All of us locally refer to the lure as the "Shag Bender".
I will post an easier one in a few minutes.

You Got It
It is the Baby Size in "Perch Color" (notice Glass Eyes) and that one in its day caught a lot of "Creek" Bass ... Never could do any good with the larger one. I have it Hanging on my "Ol Lures Board"
Back at You to post another One.

Thats what I was refering to as the original but did not put in the Fred Young's .. The lip design .... I don't know.
Posted 23 December 2007 - 08:38 PM
The painted lip and shape is why I thought it was a big "O". I did not know about the balsa version until I looked it up and saw the Original like you mentioned JSC. I guess PB will let us know soon.
