I made a few bigger ones . I have made a few smaller ones .

hmmm, I must have been mistaken, the one I saw had almost a light-bulb or pear shape. Those look great FFT, how much are they?

I made a few that have a similar shape, but mine looks more like a bowling pin. I added a small egg sinker to the end and it walks the dog with ease! Sorry I don't have any picks though.

This is an original from smithwick , wieght is on the rear screweye . Mine is in the ass of the lure inbedded in the wood .

Has anyone thought to ask Blake Gills about the construction?
He invented the high roller didnt he?
I'd think it is tail weighted like toby did.

Thanks , what do you think of the lures though ? .
He did and sold it to smithwick , I belive it was this one . He knows his stuff about the lure market .

Blake gave me the entire rundown on the history of the Highroller a couple of years ago. Interesting story. Maybe we can get him to repeat it?
His original Highroller had the backwards shape, but lacked the action he was after. The solid metal bead was added to the rear screweye to change the balance and gave it great walk-the-dog action.
