clemmy
For Buzzbait rivets, what type do we use? I look online and there's blind, pop, split, head, nut, hollow, screw, etc. rivets... Which are the type we use? Thanks, Clemmy
cadman
I use Pop rivets, push out the mandrels, and put the rivet head on the wire. Then I lightly crimp the rivet body with a pair of side cutters to the wire. One other thing, I only use aluminum rivets, and try to find the smallest mandrel size that fits your wire diameter. clemmy
Thanks, so it's pop rivets I need to look for? I was looking for different sizes/materials to experiment with sound/squeal differences. Thanks again, Clemmy

Thanks again, Clemmy Yes pop rivets (blind rivets are very similar, and do the same job) are the ones you need. Make sure you get the ones with the through hole in them, and they come in all different diameters, and grip lengths. The grip length is the shaft under the head. The head is the mushroom looking thing on top of the shaft.
