Weedless jigs with Tguards

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the input Big Time. I was talking to another crappie fisherman who used both the Y and the normal fiber and had a preference to the Y type. I have not really fish weedless crappie jigs but lost way to many jigs the last few outings. I take it you glue the Y type in after casting?

the only weedless jigs I recall using were timber-rock jigs with 7 strand guard that is untwisted and I missed every fish:mad: and I dont normally miss fish. Im thinking of trying the Y guard or normal fiber modified a tad by taking a few strands out and spreading. But Ill probably try the Y first.
