Well, I have searched the site and looked at Walmart and some craft stores for mesh material for spraying scales...where are you all getting the materals for making scales?
Side Note...are there stencils for the "shad dots" and "Gills"???

The gills, perch patterns, and Shad dots can all be make from stencils. Spend some cutting them out and shooting a practice plug until you get the effect your looking for. At least try it because if it doesn't turn out like you want, you'll give the hardcore painters on TU a better way to help - If Rome wasn't built in an afternoon of beer drinking, a, hey, anyone know how long to took to build Rome??? Com'on boys, I'm trying to post something... Oh well.

I cut the net out of a .75 cent minnow net. Then place it in a needle point hoop.

Does that work with the hoop becuase you paint the backs and bellies solid colors?
