stripercrazy
I was asking about balsawood a couple weeks ago and thanks to help from TU I got xheavy balsa...over 20 pounds...its pretty hard:) turns, drills, sands nice...its 5.5 inches...a pikie 2 nj tackle lip...3 gram chin weight..total weight is 1.4oz no hooks...hooks=.2oz...it'll be interesting to see how much difference it will be from ceder...I'm thinking its a .3oz lighter
Spike-A-Pike
I think you've got it looking pikish... If I was a Musky just leaving a bar, looking for a quick snack, I'd slam it. Keep up the good work.
Vodkaman
Just a really picky side note. Two identical lures, built to have the same buoyancy etc, one cedar, the other balsa, they will both weigh the same. The lure is looking really good. Palmetto Balsa
Vman... Weigh the same, but with different actions. Experimenting with weight placement on saltwater plugs.
