Just finished some ultra minnow baits with some glitter I bought from the local Crafts store. The stuff has glue mixed in so it stays where you put it.
I am planning on putting a coat of E TEX on after it dries.
Looks great and will post pics soon.

Stripercrazy, I've tried it both ways. I like the glitter paint because you can dilute it with water and paint it on with a brush, exactly controlling the density and coverage. If you goof, dab some off with a damp brush. Can't do that with glitter mixed in the clearcoat.

I use some spray glitter in rattle cans from Michael's.
Doesn't affect either the Createx, or the Envirotex.

one trick we use is if you are using lacquers. we put glitter from components in bottle with lacquer thinner. add a couple ball bearings shake and spray thru a nu. 5 paashe tip. it etches onto paint. then clear coat the lure. hope this helps someone out
