Hello, I'm new to the air brushing hard baits hobby. I have experience painting with air buns, but not an airbrush. Iím not sure which one of these two air brushes to choose for this hobby. I'm mostly going to be sanding down and re-painting crank baits, but I will occasionally paint a reel and some other small items. I plan to use automotive paint mostly, but occasionally I will use some water based as well.

Paasche VSR90 (kit) or Iwata HP-CR (R4500) both are gravity feed.
What do you think is a better buy if I can get the Iwata for $10 more?

well, I guess that answers that question, I guess the Iwata is the way to go. What do you guys think is better for this application, the CR (1/3c) or the BR(1/16c)?

The only difference is the cup size. If you are painting baits, the smaller one will do, if you want to do larger items, the larger one will do, and it comes with a cap. If in doubt, get the larger one.

I have an Iwata CR and I am new to the airbrush stuff also but it can hold a lot of paint.......right now I am practicing on a concrete wall with water until my paint gets here from the states....
