Whiz Jig
Anybody used these three scents enough to compare them? Mustad Activate, Gulp Alive, and MegaStrike.
VARick
I believe Gulp is a water based scent so it would not mix well in plastic. However Gulp does work pretty well in the Gulf Coast area for a number of species. I like the 3' shrimp in new penny or nuclear chicken, the chartruese in the swimming mullet. ifishutah
The activate works for trout ice fishing. I don't think you can add it to baits though. Megastrike has a very loyal following, I personally prefer YUM. I'm not real sure you can add Megastrike to plastics, i could be wrong, but I think it will burn. SwampBaits
You should try Upper Hand Scents! The Hawg Sauce and Hawg N Garlic are very very powerful!!
Whiz Jig
I use Upper Hand Scents, LC and Smelly Jelly. I have never used the three mentioned above. I think they are water based and use pheromones. I was trying to get input on the differences between them and maybe recommendations as to which one might be better. I would like to try them, but with five kids, I can try every thing that comes out. I would like to try one of them. Looks like I will have to throw a dart. SwampBaits
The megastike can go into plastic...i've used it. Not to much of a smell to it though.
TexSalt
Anybody know what the stuff is that GrandeBass uses? Whatever that scent is, it sure is pretty deadly but then again I don't do much freshwater fishing. Ditto on the Gulp scent for saltwater - nothing beats it right now for any kind of inshore fish. BassnRandy
I used Megastrike a few times as i had some left from when i was prostaffing for Venom. It's better on after you pour. Has a week smell cooked and burns very easily. Stick to Upperhand Scents. Good long lasting smells.

Whiz Jig
What can you tell me about: Mustad Activate, Gulp Alive, and MegaStrike?
Bender
I'm thinking about picking up some of the Gulp spray this weekend to add to the bag later, I'll report back. I have also heard that Megastrike will burn out if added into the hot plastic, you should also add it afterwards.
