Drop Belly Glider Balance

Haven't made a drop belly glider yet. Wondering how the lead needs to be placed to offset the lift that may be created by the profile below the centerline of the lure. Do you need to bias the weight forward on these body shapes or do you shoot for the bait to sit level to the horizon?

i weight the bait to sink horizontally,i've a couple that sink slightly tail first that fish o'k but have found bait's that go down slightly head first come up to the surface
