Thinning epoxy

Recommended Posts

One of the benefits of Evirotex Lite is the increased working time. I get a half hour before it's really hard to spread. If it starts to get harder to spread, I hit it with a hair dryer, and it softens up enough again to spread. I can coat five or six jointed lures in one session with Etex. I use D2T for coating the insides of the joints first, if I want to do all the coating on the same day. The D2T doesn't sag as much as the Etex, and sets hard enough in 2 hours to allow me to reassemble my lures, and put them on the wheel for coating.
