I was looking for a way to spee the sanding procss up. what I want t do is tha my eletric motor I have lying around and turn it into a sander for my flat side cranks. I cant seam to find a pulley for my motor. I'm looking for a 1/2" inside diameter u shaped for 1/2" shaft eletric motor with a screw lock the shaft dosent have a slot for a key.

This is the plan. I want to line the inside of the pulley with sand paper so I can round off my cranks instead of using the pipe I cut in half and lined with sand paper just trying to speed up a bit.

Any help would be great appreciated!!!!!

Think it was Pete that has sanding discs made up. Didn't you turn them from wood discs then line them with emory cloth?
