swimbait video

14 posts in this topic

I uploaded a video I did this eve of a swimbait I have been working on the last couple weeks. The lure is 8.5 inches long and made from solid plastic. I purposely didn't include a picture of the lure in the video clip because I haven't painted one yet, lol.

I mixed up the lure retrieve to include some hesitations, some injured motions and slow and fast retrieves so that guys could get an idea of what the lure is capable of .

Anyway, my wife ran the camera so I must give her credit. She is used to getting drug along to be the camera person by now, at least this time she didn't have to hold a flashlight, lol.

I hope you guys like it.

Jed

For those not familiar with youtube, if you let the video play for 30 seconds and then grab the scroll bar at the bottom of the video and pull it back to the beginning the video will play smoothly.

Jed,

That thing has beautiful action no matter what retrieve you use. I like it. When will the painted version be posted?

Nice job Jed, swims real good. Very stable. Was a good idea leaving it white for the vid.

Mrs Jed did a good job too.

Very nice, just bought one of your other swimbaits from the D&R Sportscenter in Kalamazoo a couple of weeks ago. Looks like this one will be equally well done. Remember to show us some pictures of them painted.

Good work,

Mike

Pretty static head and sinuous mid to tail action. To me it's a bit more snake-like than fishy but we'll need to let the fish be the final judges ;). Has it been field tested yet? (Question from a guy who don't see winter )
