I have painted spinner bait blades with auto paint (lacquer and urethane). They will hold up for awhile but will chip easily. Powder coat is the ticket if you can learn to master the application. I haven't...............

Hi Monty,

I have had some good success with using enamel paints, then baking the finish on after I have shot them with color. It seems to hold up rather well. At least the company that I am painting for hasnt had any problems reported back to me about their spinner blades. Just my two cents worth.
